We have conducted several humanitarian aid and special projects in various countries.
In East Africa we have assisted with feeding children at a church run school in one of the slums.

Through the kind donations of many friends we have provided several items for the school including:
Classroom dividers
Play equipment

- Cabinets for storing school supplies.
- Soccer Balls,
- Skipping Ropes
- Toys
Volunteers have donated large amounts of school supplies. We have conducted teacher training for the school teachers. It was the first time that they had received in-service training.
Opening of Destiny Academy

"February 12, 2007 marked the opening of Destiny Academy. The Garissa Redeemed Gospel Church in North East Kenya sponsors this private school.
Despite extensive flooding to the church compound and considerable damage to the Sunday School classroom during December of 2006, the vision birthed in the heart of Pastor David Matolo was realized.

God granted favour and I was able to carry many kilograms of teaching materials to Garissa. Each afternoon, as the Kindergarten students 'napped', their teacher and I spent hours reviewing these materials.
What a unique opportunity to share the teaching responsibilities with the classroom teacher! I even learned the Kiswahili alphabet and a host of words.
A further invitation was extended to complete the term with Destiny Academy. Teacher Elizabeth and I agreed that we gained much from our professional experiences together.
While there, I taught the Sunday School which grew to over 80 students on Easter Sunday. I also had the privilege of sharing the speaking responsibilities at the first Women of Destiny Conference. I thank God for new opportunities for ministry.
May God richly bless those who contributed and prayed so faithfully. We trust that the enrollment in the school will increase and that God will continue to bless His people in Garissa.

Feedback from the Pastor:
"This letter is to congratulate the sister in Christ [Martha Clinch] who has been together with us in establishing Destiny Academy.
Destiny Academy staff enjoyed your skill and working together with you as we were just starting from nowhere. The children have really loved you as their teacher and they believe that you are a part of Destiny Academy. Also for the time you have been around you became a big blessing to the church as a whole, particularly the Sunday school teachers and children. May the good God bless you."
Pastor David, Garissa
In Central America
We have provided supplies for a Christian school, including tiles for lunch counters. We were also able to bless the staff with financial gifts and toiletries. If the students do not pay the school fees, the teachers receive no salary. The school is an area where the people are very poor. Their nation is the second poorest in the western hemisphere.
